Kate GillespieAssistant DirectorKate Gillespie is an Assistant Director with IHME Client Services where she helps private sector organizations understand and leverage the value of IHME’s population health data. Kate works with insurance, life sciences, and technology clients, as well as advocacy organizations. Kate completed her post-doctoral training at IHME between 2010-2012. Prior to joining IHME Client Services in 2019, Kate spent 5 years with AARP’s Public Policy Institute conducting health services research in partnership with OptumLabs. She was an epidemiologist at the Children’s National Health System, and taught biostatistics at George Washington University, where she serves as adjunct faculty. Kate received her BA in Anthropology from Yale University and her MPH and PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Washington.
