Safe Start Program.

As part of Washington State’s Safe Start Program, IHME is providing insights to employers at no cost to help Washingtonians
Stay Healthy, Stay Open, Stay Informed. 

As the COVID-19 pandemic shifts to endemic, tracking the course of COVID-19 and overall employee health remains a priority. The Safe Start Program helps employers continue to do their part to ensure a healthy and safe workplace.  ​

HISTORY OF THE PROGRAM

​In 2020, The Early Detection Program as part of Safe Start launched as a reporting and survey platform to allow industries in Washington state ​to return and remain on-site safely. The work began in the maritime sector and expanded to include childcare, manufacturing, airlines and other industries.
